About the Event
Hannah Boeck is the owner of Cued Creative and a pediatric speech-language pathologist with a background in marketing and business development. During this 1-hour CEU event, Hannah will be sharing everything you need to know to consider starting your very own private practice. Whether you are interested in seeing a few clients a week or dream of owning a multi-disciplinary practice, this course will answer the most common questions and cover the basics of venturing out on your own.
Course objectives:
1. Participants will be able to describe the basic requirements for starting a private practice.
2. Participants will be able to define the role of the SLP, PT, or OT as the business owner.
3. Participants will be able to identify the 3 most common types of marketing for private practices.
Hannah Boeck received her bachelor’s degree in Politics from New York University where she began her career in consulting. After a decade of acquiring and honing her marketing, business, and organizational skills, she made the leap into speech-language pathology. Hannah received her master's degree from Rush University in Chicago and has since practiced as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in California, Oregon, and Kansas City. In 2017 Hannah started Cued Creative as a way to combine her diverse business experience and love of technology and design, with her passion for pediatric therapy. Cued Creative offers fellow therapists a place to go to find the support and solutions they need to start their own businesses. To date, she has supported over 200 private practices from 4 countries and almost all 50 states.
